Easter has been a good one for us. I got to take over a week off work, and spent it doing a ton of different things. We got some DIY done, in the form of painting a big part of the second bedroom and putting together some furniture, which has meant that another part of the house is closer to being decorated and pretty. I got some spend some time with a couple of friends, going out for lunch and catching up. And I also got to spend plenty of time with family, which is obviously the most important thing at times of the year like this. Being with my boy has made me hate that we have to spend so much time apart when we work and, although I know that it’s not healthy to spend every minute of the day together, it would be nice if we got to spend weekdays together a little more. It just seems we go a long time without time off, and that just makes me a bit sad.
Anyway, it has been such a nice Easter break, and yesterday was especially lovely, when me, Hana and our mum did a little travelling into the snowy mountains. We went about 35 miles north from where my parents live and we got to see some gorgeous views out in the sunshine, and even finished the afternoon sitting outside eating ice-cream. And just look at those frozen waterfalls coming down the mountains – beautiful. It was a good day, and here are a few photos I wanted to share with you guys.
