I’ve never been much of a photographer; I think Lucy holds more of the talent in that department but I’ve always loved the end result of having a photo to frame. I will happily take my camera along to important events such as birthdays and holidays, but I will very rarely get them printed which kind of defeats the whole purpose of taking them in the first place. It is because of this that I came to the decision a few months ago to buy an Instant Camera, and decided upon the Fujifilm Instax 210. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. It takes great wide format photos that have a beautiful vintage look to them. I have to be honest, I have wasted a few films along the way practicing with the focus and perfecting the use of the close-up lens, but it is all worth it when it creates the amazing collection of photos I have above. I managed to get a great selection of snaps during my sister’s hen weekend in Bournemouth, and most of these were used in the Memories Book that was created for the event by one of her bridesmaids. I am also very happy to have captured some gorgeous photos of my nephew, which will be cherished for years to come. I am hoping to accumulate many more shots when we go away to Kefalonia for my sister’s wedding, and the Greek scenary will make for a stunning backdrop I’m sure.
