Re-Useable Wedding Items

Reuseable Wedding Items

You don’t need me to tell you that weddings are expensive, everybody knows that and once all the little things start adding up, it’s easy to see how things can get a bit out of hand. For this very reason, I’m trying to make every wedding purchase count, finding as many items as I can that I can re-use once the big day has come and gone. This will include everything from the festoon lighting, which will be used in our garden, to succulents and candles, which will decorateĀ our home long after our celebrations have ended. When Getting Personal offered to send me some items to use at our wedding I was delighted to see just how many products can become treasured reminders of such a special day.

We’ve got a ton of wooden stuff for the wedding already, so this large crate will fit in wonderfully. We’ll fill it with florals, or with cards from our guests on the big day and then afterwards we’re going to fill it with flowers inĀ put it in our garden and a beautiful reminder of our wedding day.

These champagne flutes will be used for our first toast as a married couple and I’m really looking forward to keeping them in our home and using them on special occasions when we might drink sparkling wine or champagne. This is the first thing I own that bares my married name, which is pretty exciting, and I can’t wait to have it on our table at the wedding.

These stunning dessert forks are just perfect for our wedding day, and I know that we’ll eat many a slice of cake using them long after our wedding cake has been cut and polished off. I’m trying to have as many little items around the table setting of me and the Mr. that I’ll be able to take home with us and this is just one of those things that I can’t wait to pack away and bring home with us.
