Wedding Guestbook

I knew pretty much as soon as I started making Project Life scrapbooks, that this was how I wanted my wedding guestbook to go. It only took a few months for us to actually get engaged after that, so the idea was pretty fresh in my mind when I started to think about the way we wanted to record messages from our big day. There are SO many choices when it comes to choosing how your guestbook will look and each way is totally right for the couple in question. For us, we wanted simple, nothing elaborate that we’d have trouble displaying in our home. So, this is the route we took.

We printed over 100 photos, most of us alone, but some with friends and family too and decided to edit them all to black and white to keep the look consistent, before we started popping them in the album. I used a couple of different Project Life and We R Memory Keepers kits for the cards (Good Times and Blackboard) and printed out a digital Project Life kit (Love Story) onto card stock.

We made sure to add a ton of journalling cards to make sure our guests have enough places to write, but we also have plans to add some engagement shoot photos, as well as photos we have taken on our wedding day and beyond. We really want this to be an album of ‘us’, something we can look back at, show to our kids and really enjoy for a long time. I’m so excited to see it full, not only of us, but of all the people who will make our day so infinitely special.
