Fresh, Summer Food

There is nothing I love more in the summer than eating salads and fruit – I not only know that it’s good for me, but all this fresh produce is just delicious in the summer months! I know it can be difficult to get your 5 portions of fruit and vegetables every day, but it really isn’t too much trouble when all these gorgeous fruits and vegetables are perfectly in season and ready to be eaten! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I only eat these foods – I always put a little cheese in with my salad and I sneak a little bit of low-fat yogurt and shortbread into my strawberries – but it just makes you feel good when you know you’re putting the best kinds of things into your body. Mix that in with some exercise and you’re pretty much set for feeling great this summer!
