Yes, we have yet another DIY for Valentine’s Day using the same felt pieces that were used for the past three DIYs that we have featured. That’s four DIYs for you for just a few dollars or pounds, as the rest of the supplies needed you’re very likely to have lying about the place. This one would make a lovely Valentine’s gift for your home, either as a feature just for the time around February, or permanently if it goes well with your interiors. Or you could even change the colours up to specifically suit your home, so that you can make several of these, just in different patterns. And when else would you be able to have a page from your favourite book on display? Give this one a go, another simple Valentine’s DIY.
First, choose your book page and your picture frame. Then, cut a piece of cardboard and trim your book page to fit neatly inside the frame.
Next, cut out the hearts that are going to be stitched onto the page. I chose two medium-sized red hearts as a base and two small pink hearts to sit on top.
Place your hearts in the appropriate place for stitching, ensuring that they are equally spaced, checking by popping the page back into the frame.
Stitch down the middle of each pink heart, either by hand or using a sewing machine.
Stand back and admire.
