When it comes to booking holidays we usually keep our sunny destinations for the summer months, going for 2 weeks in June or July, but on a bit of a spontaneous whim we visited Morocco in February for a week of winter sun. It was somewhere we’d considered going a few years ago but had never got around to visiting so this seemed like the perfect place to go for a little rest and relaxation. We spent much of our days lazing by the pool but we did venture out of the resort a couple of days to have a tour around Agadir, visiting a local museum, mosque and souk. We also had an awesome time on a beach buggie adventure where we got the chance to take it in turns to drive, stopping off at a local farm to have a traditional Moroccan breakfast with lots of sweet treats and mint tea. It was a lovely trip where we got to take in the culture but still make the most of the warm temperatures.
