Two weeks was the break we have just taken. We needed to take the time out. To Christmas shop. To enjoy some time off from work. To generally have a bit of us time away from everything. For me , the last couple of weeks have been full and fun. I’ve been for a job interview, quit Facebook, been away for a weekend, been offered the job I interviewed for, quit my current job, done a TON of Christmas shopping (down to just a handfull of gifts), baked a LOT of cupcakes attended The Clothes Show Live this week. I’ve had a lovely past two weeks, but I left the blog with a bunch of drafted posts and I’ve been super inspired over the last couple of weeks with things I’ve seen online, so I’m back to bring the gorgeous to you in the couple of weeks leading up to Christmas.
My first post back brings you these beauuuutiful prints I found, created by UK illustrator Linzie Hunter. She has done lettering and illustrating for hundreds of publications and I came across the above prints on her Flickr. I would LOVE to be able to be this creative when it came to my Christmas cards, however, this is extremely unlikely. I will be making handmade cards this year, because I want my loved ones to have something unique from me, but I can only dream about creating cards quite as gorgeous as these are. Go take a look at more of Linzie’s work here and here, you really are in for a treat. Allow these gorgeous designs to take you fully into the Christmas season, we’re only 17 days away!
