Autumn Love

Autumn Love

I used to consider autumn to be a horrible month, that time between the end of summer and the start of Christmas when the mornings and afternoons would get darker earlier and it’d start to get super chilly. I don’t know why it’s happened, but these past couple of years I have had a change of heart and I really have a soft spot for all things fall. From the cold, sunny mornings to the colours of the leaves, the pumpkin adorned stores to the warm knitwear that comes with cooler temperatures. Okay, so when it rains, it is dull and dreary, but just one crisp, bright autumn morning is enough to brighten my mood and get me excited about Halloween and the dark nights in with hot chocolate and a soft blanket. It makes me want to bake and burn candles and fill my home with warmth and lovely scents. So, this is what I am doing, I am embracing the season and waiting patiently for Christmas to come. Not long now!
