I have always been somewhat a fan of scrapbooking. A few years ago I started a mini scrapbook to document a few of the most important moments that had occured since I was around 16, but since then I haven’t really kept up with it for myself and my own photos. For our nephew’s first birthday myself and Hana put together a scrapbook documenting each month in his first year and it was a great present for him and a fun exercise for us. The only problem that I find with scrapbooking is the amount of time and resources required to keep it pretty and up-to-date. That’s why when I heard about Project Life, I became pretty excited at the possibilities of displaying some of my most precious photos in a new and different way. The basic idea is the same as a scrapbook, but it is so much more simple than that; by using pocket pages and pre-printed journalling cards, you can still create a beautiful book with a ton of photos, but at a quicker time and with many fewer supplies. I’ve decided to start one up myself, so last week I ordered the Clementine Core Set and received it today. The album and pocket pages have been ordered and are also on their way in the mail. I hope to start the project soon and will post a few updates here as I go.
